Ph.D. Student, Sociology, University of Colorado Boulder

I’m a PhD student in Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder, originally from Colombia. My research interests focus on migration and environmental sociology, with a particular emphasis on Environmental Justice (EJ) communities. I am particularly interested in understanding how immigrant communities are affected by environmental hazards and how immigration status shapes these experiences. I am passionate about qualitative methods and Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR). I hold a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado Denver.
