CU Boulder ranks 14th out of 551 U.S. colleges and universities in social and behavioral science research funding, up from 18th last year.
The rankings, compiled by the Consortium of Social Science Associations (COSSA), are based on data from the National Center for Science and Education Statistics’ Higher Education Research and Development (HERD) Survey. The data include combined federal research and development expenditures for social sciences, psychology, law, communications, and social work.
