CUPC seed grant program fuels more than $10 million in external funding applications

CUPC’s seed grant program has supported a variety of preliminary work including on adult mortality, demography and genetics, immigrant health, and the consequences of access to long acting reversible contraception (LARCs). The investments have fueled over $10 million in requests for external funding, with support received for research on the health consequences of technology use among adolescents as well as of urban gardening.

Ryan Masters. Obesity Genomics, Cardiometabolic Health and Adult Mortality.
Adam Lippert. Spatial Distribution of Black-White Septic Mortality Disparities, Area-Level.
Fernando Riosmena. Migration and the Healthy Aging of Mexicans in a Binational Context.
